FOREST FEAST JUNIOR SWIMMING LEAGUE
Sliabh Beagh junior swimmers travelled to Dungannon Leisure Centre last Friday evening, 7th June 2013 to compete in the “A Final”, Division C in the Forest Feast Junior Swimming League. This was a fantastic achievement to reach this final considering that our swimmers were in their first year competing at this level after gaining promotion from Division D last season.
This was a 3 way final and Limavady emerged as overall winners with a score of 311 points, followed by Sliabh Beagh with 281 points and Newry and Mourne swimming club taking the third spot with 248 points. Congratulations must go out to all our swimmers who brought home a record number of personal best times between them. The co-ordinators would like to thank all parents who have helped in anyway throughout the season as without your help these galas would not run smoothly. Lastly a big thank you to our coaches Linda, Dana and Phillipa for all your hard work and dedication that you have given to our Aquasprint team over the past year.
Presentation of Aquasprint medals will take place this Saturday, 15th June 2013 at Monaghan Leisure Centre after our Annual Club Records gala. We wish all our aquasprints an enjoyable summer.
