CONGRATULATIONS once again to our AquaSprint squad who had their 2nd gala of the Forestfeast Aquasprint Junior Swimming League.  the following is a report from AquaSprint Coach Dana:  “The Sliabh Beagh Aqua Sprint swimmers swam to their second victory this season against Lecale ASC on Saturday, February 2nd. The gala, which took place in Downpatrick was exciting to watch from start to finish with many close races. Sliabh Beagh especially showed their strength in the relays. A special thanks to those in the intermediate squad who showed their support for Sliabh Beagh and had an enjoyable evening among the Aqua Sprinters. As always, thank you to the parents for their help at the gala. We couldn’t do it without you! An extra big thanks goes to the swimmers for their continued hard work in practice every week. Well done to the entire squad! Final Score: Lecale 186 vs. Sliabh Beagh 214”. Our next gala is against Newry – on Saturday 2 March 2013.

FLAG DAY FUNDRAISING
This Saturday 9th February we are holding our Flag day.   Could all parents collecting at 9am meet in Flemings car park and you will be given collecting buckets.  Parents who are collecting later in the day, please go to your designated area at the time stated on the rota, which is on the noticeboard in the pool.  Many thanks in advance to all who are taking part.

50M POOL SESSION
The next 50m Pool training in Magherafelt will be held on Tuesday 12 February 2013.  This training session will consist of two pool sessions and land work too.   Please confirm with Claire if attending.  Transport and time details will be confirmed over the weekend.

FEES
Fees are now due, Tommy our treasurer will be at the pool on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings.  If you have already paid, thank you.
