This was a great competition for our swimmers giving them an opportunity to compete as their Ulster peers as a team.

Two Sliabh Beagh swimmers, Alannah Leonard and Ciaran Deasy, were selected to swim on the Ulster team in the interprovincial schools competition which took place on Bank Holiday Monday in the NAC.  Ciaran swam with the Ulster Junior Boys squad and competed in the 100m Butterfly and 200m IM.  Ciaran was also part of the 4x50m Medley Relay and Freestyle Relay.  Alannah, who was captain of the Ulster Senior Girls Squad competed in the 100m Backstroke where she was placed 1st gaining a new PB of 1.05.59.  She also swam in the 200 IM and 400 Freestyle.  Alannah was also part of both relay teams. Connaught were the overall winners with Leinster 2nd and Ulster placing 3rd, followed by Munster in 4th position.

Congratulations to both of our swimmers, you have done your club proud!

  Annual Club Records Gala

This gala is an opportunity for records to be broken and new records made.  It takes place on Saturday the 17th of May in Coral Leisure. Gala starts at 6pm. However, at this stage entries to this event are closed.

A lot of help is needed to run this gala and we would greatly appreciate if parents could offer their support. Looking forward to a fun and enjoyable day!
