Sliabh Beagh Aquasprint team held the first gala of the season in Monaghan Leisure Centre where they took on Breifne of Cavan.  There was a great turnout of swimmers with 32 children competing for Sliabh Beagh.  The competition was very tight and our swimmers did us proud.  The relays, in particular, were very exciting.  Congratulations to Breifne who went home victorious on the night.  Well done to all the Sliabh Beagh swimmers who did themselves and their club proud.

Both clubs attended a reception in the leisure centre after the gala – thanks to all our club parents who provided the refreshments, served the treats and made our visitors feel welcome.

Thanks too, to all parents who ran the gala: the timekeepers, group leaders, coaches, score-keepers etc.  The success of these Aquasprint galas are down to the participation of all families.
