Unfortunately Armagh ASC are unable to meet with us this Saturday for the friendly Aqua Sprint gala planned.  But do not fear we are still going ahead with a Club Gala.   All swimmers in the AQUA SPRINT age range will be participating.  That is if you are aged between 8 and 12 years in 2012.  We will also use the gala to give some of our Development Squad swimmers an opportunity to experience a gala atmosphere.  In general the younger swimmers will be swimming in two events over 25m and the older swimmers in two events over 50m.  Details will be issued by the Squad Co-Ordinator.

Support from parents is essential at galas to assist with various duties:

• Timekeepers  (six)
• Starter and finishing judge
• Official to record times and keep score

We also need supporters to cheer on all swimmers taking part in the galas.
