On February 18th twenty six of our athletes travelled to Lagan Valley, Lisburn for the Future Challengers meet. The
swimmers who attended this under-14 meet were Millie, Ellen, Evin, Clodagh, Hugh, Lucy, Lily, Aoife, Charlie, Colm, Owen, Riya, Darren, Egan, Jay, Daithí, Rían, Éilís, Odhrán, Emma, Hannah, Éabha,
Matthew, Chullain, Sophia and Ridas.
One thing we can say about this meet was that the swimmers left it all in the pool. They had great PB times and it is a testament to the hard work they are putting in at training. We had some super swims
by Ridas who finished in 1st place in 200Fr, Sophia who finished in 3 rd place in 100Brs while Millie also finished in 3 rd place in 200Fr. Riya had a great day with two 2nd place finishes in 100IM and 200Fr and Owen also finished in 2nd in 100IM and 3 rd in 200Fr.
