Please find attached a revised format for the 2017 Irish Age Group Championships & Summer Open. Following recent feedback, there was some concern around the meet being fit for purpose in terms of athlete experience. This restructure removes that issue and should prove to be an attractive meet for all qualifying Irish athletes. Other than for those athletes competing for Ireland at this time, there is an expectancy from the NPD that athletes will support and attend this meet as a culmination of their season’s swimming.
Please also find attached the selection policies for the Irish teams to the 2017 LEN European SC Championships and to the 2017 Slovenian Open Championships. These both pay particular reference to the importance of the IAGSO 2017, hence the combined distribution of such.
