The Lisbon International meet held in Jamor on the outskirts of Lisbon was an early long-course swimming opportunity for Adam Lynch and Darragh Hughes who swim in our Senior Performance
Squad.  With the appeal of an extra International meet; over 700 swimmers & 13 countries were represented at this year’s event from Italy, Switzerland, Ukraine, Spain, the UK, Romania,
Ireland & with over 30 club teams from the home country Portugal, the competition was a truly top-level European event in 2023.
With the boys racing in their top Breaststroke & Fly events, they held their own against World Class opposition finishing in the top 40 in each of their events which had on average 90-100 entrants.

Congrats to the two lads on their great performance in this meet and thanks to Head Coach Pearse for his advice and support to the boys in Lisbon and also to Michelle Lynch for the Mammy support!
