Medal Success for Sliabh Beagh at the Ulster Schools Championships.

The Second day of the Swim Ulster Schools Competition proved to be just as successful as the day before!.  Sunday was the day of our older swimmers and once again they made their school, club and family proud!!

12 to 14 yrs age group.

Connor Comiskey took gold and became Ulster Champion in the 100 backstroke he also won silver in the 100 freestyle.

Claragh Mc Gahon won Bronze in the 100 Backstroke and was just pipped for a medal in the 100 Fly.

Faolan Campbell narrowly missed out on a bronze medal in the 100 Backstroke. He reached the final of the 100 freestyle.

Allison Gorman achieved personal best times in the 100 Fly and 100 Freestyle. Allison qualified for the final of the 100 Fly.

Kyle Crean Mc kenna achieved personal best times in the 100 Breast and the 200 IM

Cillian Mc Gahon achieved personal best times in the 100 freestyle and in the 200 IM.

Ciona Barry had a good swims in the 100 Breaststroke and 100 Fly, achieving personal best times.

Hazel Mc Morrow achieved personal best times in the 100 Breaststroke and 100 freestyle

Sheenagh Mc Kenna had two good races in the 100 freestyle and 200IM, achieving PB’s

15 to 16 yrs age group.

Megan Mc Shane had two good swims, reaching the finals of the 100 Backstroke and 100 Breaststroke.

John Donnelly qualified for the 100 Breaststroke final and came 4th in the 100 freestyle final.

Leon Campbell had a good gala making the final in both of his races, the 100 fly and the 200 IM.

James Campbell swam in the 100 freestyle and 100 Fly and achieved personal best times.

Ellen Mc Geough had good swims in the 100 breast and the 100 freestyle and achieved PB’s in both.

Katie Bowden swam in the 200IM and 400 freestyle and produced good PB’s in both.

17 to 19 yrs age group

Colin Gorman took gold and became Ulster Champion in the 100 Fly. Colin also reached the final of the 100 freestyle.

Ciaran Deasy won silver in the 100 Backstroke and reached the final of the 100 freestyle.

Shauna Mc Gahon won Bronze in the 200 IM narrowly missing out on a silver medal she also came forth in the 100 Fly

Emer Sheridan qualified for the final of the 100 Breaststroke and got a personal best time in the 100 freestyle.
