We would appreciate any information on the club’s history, prominent members, achievements and distinctions, interesting facts etc.
Comortas Gala
Sliabh Beagh swimmers also won a number of medals at the Comortas Gala held recently in the National Aquatic Centre. Photos of Comortas Gala will be included next week.
Ulster Minor Schools Competition
This was held last weekend in Ballymena. The club was represented by Caoimhe and Dara Quinn, Matthew and Conor Comiskey, Cillian and Ciaragh McGahon and Lorcan Roberts. All swimmers gave a great account of themselves, taking a total of seven medals back to Monaghan. These swimmers have now qualified for the Irish Schools Championships in Galway on the weekend of 9th/10th December. The coaches and committee are indeed very proud of this achievement so well done to you all.
Sliabh Beagh Halloween Schedule
There will be no swimming this Sunday morning at 8am due to the Cookstown Gala. The swimming lessons for the Halloween break are as follows.
Saturday 29th October NO Classes
Monday 31st October NO Classes
Thursday 3rd November NO Development Squad Classes
All other sessions will be as normal.
