The 2021 Commonwealth Youth Games will be the seventh Commonwealth Youth Games which started in 2000. Northern Ireland won the bid to host the games in 2021 and Swim Ulster have their sights firmly fixed on 2021.

The Focus Belfast 2021 event was held to identify girls and boys aged from 10 years up to 14 years who have the potential to qualify for the Youth Commonwealth Games 2021.

On the day Sheenagh took Gold for her performance in Girls age 13 and Alannah took Bronze in Girls age10.

Congratulations goes to all three girls who swam 200m freestyle, 200m Individual Medley and 100m frontcrawl leg kick and took part in a workshop held by Swim Ulster officials with the aim to offer a ‘focus’ for these young athletes.
