Forest Feast AquaSprint Junior Swimming League

Sliabh Beagh’s youngest members travelled to Cookstown Leisure Centre on Saturday evening to compete against Mid Ulster Swimming Club in the Forest Feast Aquasprint Junior Swimming League.

This was the first outing of the season for our Aquasprint Team. We were victorious on the night winning by 231 points to 169 points.  Congratulations to all our young Sliabh Beagh swimmers on their first win of the season.  Swimmers on both sides showed great sportmanship.  There were alot of strong performances throughout the squad.  All the hard training is paying off so everybody keep up the good work.

Thanks to all parents who helped out on the night – timekeepers, team co-ordinators, touch judges and recorders on the table.  Your help was very much appreciated.

The next AquaSprint Gala will be a home gala on Saturday 11th February 2012 against Kilkeel.
